I know how tough it can be to juggle multiple roles whilst trying to look after ourselves physically and mentally. But it IS possible, even for the busiest of us!
I started coaching people in 2008 and launched Strong For Life in 2013, as my passion for strength training grew along with my understanding of the many benefits of lifting weights.
Since then we established Hull and East Yorkshire's only British Weightlifting affiliated club, opened our first gym in 2019, and quickly expanded to a new dedicated strength training facility in 2022.
Our growth is reflective of the understanding and experience of the huge benefits of strength and weightlifting training amongst our community of growth-driven people.
I have lived and breathed sports and physical activity since the age of 4, and I truly believe that adults can still discover a love for exercise and training; even if it hasn't been a big part of their lives.

Come and join our community of weightlifters in our small group coaching sessions. These are suited to those who know the basics of the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. However if you are a beginner, we recommend our beginner's course, or 1-to-1 coaching where we will bring you up to speed.
For those who are serious about improving their health, strength and performance. Benefit from our bespoke face-to-face coaching packages, which includes individual training programming, and nutritional and lifestyle support to propel you towards your goals.
